I just realized how hard it is to tell about one’s self.  There is so much I could say “about Wendi” but will keep it simple and to the point.  I was born in east Texas but have lived pretty much all over Texas as well as a couple other states.  I have always and still do consider east Texas my home.  These good ole piney woods are hard to beat!

I have two biological children…Tammy, age 38 years old and Chris, age 35 years old.  These two kids are the best daughter and son anyone could ever hope for.  I guess you could say the three of us kind of grew up together!  I was only 17 when Tammy was born and 20 when Chris was born.  We have always been very close and devoted to one another.  My kids have always been what has kept me going.  I know I failed them in many ways when they were younger and I wish I could have been the mother they so deserved.  They always knew I loved them and they never left my side.  Tammy and Chris have given me five beautiful grandchildren…Bailey, age 20; Christina, age 15; Taylor, age 14; Brian, age 13 and Alysa, age 8.  All my grandbabies are absolutely great kids and I cherish them all.

I am married to Trevor, who has got to be the most wonderful, loving husband any woman could ask for.  We married in 1995 and I have not regreted one moment of our marriage.  He is my best friend and I love him more than he knows!

As you know, Elijah and Grace are our babies.  We love them so and are so thankful to God for entrusting them into our care.  It still amazes me each time I look into their little faces what an honor it is to be their parents!  And now…God is giving us another…our little Nick!

To sum it all up…”Wendi” is a perfect example of God’s mercy and grace.  Our daughter was named Grace because it is only by His grace that I exist.  I lie in bed sometimes and I wonder, “Why has God given me such a wonderful life.  I have my precious children and grandchildren, I have the best husband, my life is so blessed and full…why, me?  What did I ever do to deserve all this?”  And then I know…that it is only because of God’s mercy and grace towards me because He loves me so, that I am even breathing and able to have this life I have.  It is only because of Him!  Thank you, Jesus for loving us so!
